Noted, thanks. I use to buy exclusively Michelin, have had long life with that brand in the past. I do like how my wife's truck looks with hers..In my experience, and this is only in my experience, Bridgestone tires wear out faster then any other tire brand including Firestone which is made by the same company. I have no idea why this is, but it just is.
In recent years, my tires will dry rot with loads of tread left. Back in the day, 60K+ miles for a set was not unheard of for me.....I had Bridgestone straight from the factory and now about 18,400 miles I just had a nail in one of the tires that was on the side of the tire and not repairable. They check the wear on my tires and I thinks 3 tires were at 3/32 and one was at 2/32. My Ranger is a 2019 and I’m not sure if this is normal for stock tires. Obviously I needed new tires and decided to get some Goodyear Wrangler Fortitude. Hope these will last much much longer.
Agreed, this is what I use to average on tires as wellIn recent years, my tires will dry rot with loads of tread left. Back in the day, 60K+ miles for a set was not unheard of for me.....
The factory Bridgestone tires unfortunately have a short life span. Not uncommon here. With that said there are plenty of tire options you can go with depending on what you plan to do with your truck.I had Bridgestone straight from the factory and now about 18,400 miles I just had a nail in one of the tires that was on the side of the tire and not repairable. 50k on my stock Hankooks and probably another 20k just looking at tread depth. I would venture to say the wear on your stock tires is not typical of the factory Bridgestones under normal use - even without regular tire rotations.I had Bridgestone straight from the factory and now about 18,400 miles I just had a nail in one of the tires that was on the side of the tire and not repairable.
