How it feels driving a ranger

Is there a thread on where exactly to disconnect from the terminal or could you tell me? Thanks!

On the negative battery terminal there is a little plugin small and green I believe(I am color blind). Just unplug it and no more auto stop. I did it and don't miss the stop start at all.

Now ya'll know if you were to go ahead....bite the bullet.....and go with a tune, that stop/start crap will magically go away and you will never think of it again. You can still use your 110v outlet too....

BTW....I will be turning over 70K in my Ranger today, only about 25 miles to go for that. So as I reach this mileage milestone I wanted to reflect on my experience with this truck to date. One word....FUN!

She runs as good or better now as the day I bought her. A real smooth running beast with a very snappy transmission. I do love my Ranger and would buy another in a minute for sure. All of you out there that have not enjoyed driving the Ranger with a high performance tune installed do not know what you are missing....

I installed the catch can before I bought my tuner from Livernois. I also installed my Gibson exhaust, BOV and my home made CAI (aFe power scoop with factory airbox and K&N filter). Best to get whatever your going to do for additional power done before tuning. When we buy the Livernois package you tell them what mods are installed. I'm not sure if they tweak anything for your personal setup based on mods....but they do ask.

I like my autostop, just have to make sure it is active for over 10 seconds or it actually defeats its purpose.

Edit, I live in traffic.

Come back after you've had to have the starter replaced because of this stupid system, do you think Ford installed a heavy duty starter to compensate? I think not...
BTW, I am not a stranger to Oahu traffic, my weekday commute used to be from Makakilo to Hawaii Kai
