how far is your dealer out for appointments?

I musta got lucky. I called the Lincoln dealer to get my front end suspension looked at (has some positive camber wearing tires incorrectly) and oil/filter/rotation. The were very accommodating, and could get me in on Monday (2 business days). Not bad.

LOL. I asked, they barely have any inventory to actually sell, let alone loan out. In fact they *really* wanted to try to talk me into selling them my truck.

Yeah, no loaner.

My small town dealer was 2 weeks out a few months back. Rode through last weekend and 1/3 of his entire lot is filled with cars in for service awaiting parts on backorder. For reference, counted 33 cars sitting next to service area awaiting parts.

I just had an oil change. I scheduled via the Ford Pass app. They had appoints available that week. I was in and out in an hour.

I scheduled an drop off a week out, and got told 14 days to look at my door seals for wind noise, then the service writer managed to dent my door with no eta on that either beside maybe 14 days. No loaners to give out.

Same as others. I can get an oil change a few days out and done with the works in about an hour.

Need work done? They will make the appointment a day or two out; then they want to keep the truck for at least a week before they even look at it.
