How often do you check your oil?

Back in the 70’s, I used to check it almost every fill up. Now, to be perfectly honest, never.

Only after the dealer changes it to make sure they filled it back up. Or if I’m taking a long road trip I’ll check it real quick.

Right now, probably every 500 miles or so... just checked and exactly on the full level dot. I also make sure that I wait the 15 minutes after running at temp before checking (following the owners manual instructions)
