Looks great and now you don't need any help to get it up! =D

I also left my prop rod in place, although removing it would probably add +5HP! =p

Oh, oh, I think I spy no hood bumpers or side weatherstripping! (absolutely not needed, just doing my bit to help @AzScorpion's retirement fund)

The way I look at it, we have an emergency hood support in case the struts fail. While the 2019 guy's are stuck with a pair of vice grips ?

Oh and thats what the little BLUE truck is for, to get it up that is?

You can but I suppose the backup camera may not like it after a while.

so the camera is designed to survive offroad use, stuff slamming around in the bed, etc, but dropping the tailgate will make it blow up? I'll take my chances on this one.

If my truck had that style hood prop I wouldn't have ordered the struts.

So, back to hood struts. Just installed mine at lunch today. (About an hour after they arrived. ) What's the general verdict here after installing the struts? Remove the prop rod or leave it as is? While I did not remove it at lunch, seriously thinking it's going to get removed.
