I've avoided the damper so far but the other day I had to climb in the bed an I don't have a step. I thought, man I could use the bumper to step in then lower the tailgate if I had a damper.

Ordered my hood struts from Redline Tuning at about noon yesterday. But those guys actually shipped them late yesterday! Man, that is fast. Tracking says I'll have them Thursday. First thing Saturday morning with a cup of coffee here I come.

Shout out about Redline for those that have not used them.

I'm shocked you're going to install them right away. I thought for sure you'd have them powder coated blue first?

The nice thing is that it took more time to find the two sockets than the actual install.

And this is from the guy that lost a wrench under the floor liner he installed! Now why did I even have a wrench for that!

Good luck and it really is fast and they work so nicely. =)

Just took a look at them and I'm glad the sticker peeled off easy. If it can't be BLUE, all black is good.

NEVER!!!!!

@AzScorpion He will order the damper for tailgate if it will come in blue. I suggest to write on damper “Velocity blue edition” and he’ll get two!
