Yes sir you are 100% correct. Put happy gas on my face plus & an i.v. push then I woke up 6 hours later in recovery as they started moving me to my room. Friday afternoon they finally found a med combo that worked and slept off an on. When I got home last night I was in the recliner with a heating pad on low back for a while then to bed. Hospital beds aren't comfy at all which I was prepared for. I am a side sleeper and that was a no go at the hospital. Once home my Bowles mattress is like heaven!! I can sleep on either side or my back once meds kick in. Can't say enough good things about Bowles mattress company, made in Southern Indiana. I'm in a zombie mode LOL half awake half asleep, gonna get cleaned up and go walk around Rural King to stretch out a bit.Best of luck, I had 1/3 of my left kidney removed 3 yrs ago, all good so far.
Surgery was painless but let me tell you, once I woke up...
?
Oh and Isa our 1 year old lab who really hasn't been destructive thus far has destroyed her new bed, a small throw pillow and heating pad , guessing she is voicing her displeasure from being separated from me til my gut can take her bouncing around on me
don't let her cuteness fool ya lol

Ye sir I feel the same way. My cat sparky does too and he's been sleeping next to me since I got home.Glad to hear your procedure was a success and you are recovering. When you can, give her an extra hug. Dogs can sense our stress and are worried about us.

Thank you Tracy! I'm doing OK, been doing yard work and also sprucing up the front porch. Slight rain delay now so hopefully back at it with dry weather in the morning.Just checking to see how you are. Hope you are doing well @Fawnbuster!![]()

Frigging 10 pound lifting restriction for another 3 weeks while my internal stitches heal. Today is day 11 postoperative, I started weaning myself off pain meds on the 6th day and have only needed a single pain pill on 3 different days since. On Saturday I was on the Northside of Indy at Woodcraft and a kamikaze bug got sucked into my lung, I coughed so hard I busted open one of my incisions, only bled a little bit ? stuck a bandaid over the glue and.went back to working ?. I cannot confirm or deny any lifting over 10 pounds the last few days, that's my story and I'm stickin to it ?.
Getting my stamina and wind back. After 3 trips to hospitals and 11 stinking days inside either an ER. OR or a hospital bedroom then stuck inside the house, my cabin fever took over on Friday and I worked my butt off, then did more on consecutive days.
This coming Friday my buddy and I are headed to deercamp to do some fishing and spend the night. Gives both of us a much needed change of scenery, he is still in a sling from shoulder surgery a month ago. My treestand is the furthest from the house, it's a 20 minute hike at a decent pace so I'm well ahead of my goal to be able to get back there up and over 3 ridges for opening day of gun season. Being in the woods before 1st light and watching the world wake up cleanses my soul and renews my energy. That's a view from my tree.
Sorry for rambling lol but ya"ll should be all caught up ?
