Picked up my 98 Cherokee XJ from my local custom off-road shop. I wanted it to ride better than new and be able to tow a small trailer so I had them
replace front coils with new isolators and a .75 spacer to get leveled with rear
Replace the rear leaves with a little more heavy duty leaves for towing mall trailer
Bilstein 4600 all around
All new bushings front and rear
New motor mounts
New trans mount
Tie rods and steering linkage
2” inch hitch and 4 pin wiring
Alignment and balance tires
The jeep is pristine. Suspension was tired. It literally rides better than new now. I was shocked at how good the ride is now.
Next up new catback exhaust, small roof basket, 5 new AT tires and a paint correction after the new year.
Hit 110k miles on the way home. Took it up to 80 to pass on freeway and the old gal was steady and straight.
