Much appreciated info. I was planning on buying a welder and learning how to weld but now with the pacemaker that's a no go, I can use my tens if it's away from the pacemaker. After 2 full shoulder overhauls, ice and a tens unit worked better than any pain meds.

Gonna be visiting another hospital tomorrow, IU Med cancer center this time, happy gas or at least an I.V. at 0730.

If I miss any of @AzScorpion; @DukeCanBuildit; @Tracy Bowman ; @Trigganometry or any of my other buddies good damper jokes be sure to fill me in in a few days after I get home. Taking out the tumor and a portion of a kidney before it spreads. Been postponed 3 times already due to covid and staffing so hopefully they have it all covered. 2-4 hour surgery and 2-3 days of no rest in the hospital then home for real rest lol. Last time I was in there for 5 days and finally slept 9 hours solid when I got home. Too many bells, whistles, phones and blood pressure checks, a guy couldn't get sleep in a hospital if he paid for it. I'll check in as I can, and will someone please sign for my @AzScorpion damper T SHIRT when it's delivered, I don't want some hoodlum stealing the package off my porch while I'm gone!

Best of luck, I had 1/3 of my left kidney removed 3 yrs ago, all good so far.
Surgery was painless but let me tell you, once I woke up...

I don't know you bud but as one who's been there and done that, good luck and Godspeed! And here's maybe a chuckle for you of a couple you may never have heard……

A cop chased me down the other day and when he walked up to my window he asked me what took so long for me to pull over. I said, "well, six months ago my wife ran off with a cop and I thought you were bringing her back to me." So he wacked me on my head with his flashlight and told me never to be a smart ass with a cop again. Then he walked over to my passenger side and motioned for my buddy to put the window down and wacked him over the head with his flashlight also. My buddy asked him why he did that and the cop replied, "cause I know as soon as I would've started down the road you would've said, I wish he'd a done that to me!"

Hey, Mike, good luck with your surgery. It sounds complicated to us non-specialists, but it is a piece of cake for the docs. You will be back in your Ranger and on the forum in no time!

When I had a appendix out in my late 60s I had three incisions so I asked the doc why three. He said this one is for the tool to cut out the appendix and the lower one is to extract the appendix and the one on the far side is for the light.

Yep similar here. 2 for robot, 1 for the gas, 1.for camera and 2 for assistants. I asked about a video but he doesn't record.
