What brake issues are you having? at 19k I started losing my inner rear pads every 5k miles. The dealer just kept turning my rotors and putting new pads on.... Now I am at 36k
Basically this same issue except;

1. The rotors would be under minimum thickness even if they only took 10 thou off.
2. They tried to get away without changing pads at least 4 times.
3. They have changed the rotors 3 times, and the pads 2 times, but never at the same time.
4. I finally had to call ford corporate to get a field service engineer out. They changed the rotor on the drivers side and the pads on that side, and it's now been "fixed" for at least 1000 miles.

The 1000 miles is a record in 2020 for my longest duration without brake issues.

I'm still paranoid though so I think I'm manifesting brake shudder or at least hyper sensitive to any variation, but my wife can't feel anything weird (yet).

That's sad to hear...maybe Ford switched suppliers which led to your rapid brake decline...again, I avoid hard braking when possible but it happens when lights and stupid get in the way...that said, at almost 55k miles, I'm still on original rotors and pads...best I can tell, the rotors are smooth and pads maybe 1/2 worn...

I've also had an issue with the rear pads/rotors. Within the first thousand miles I had a brake squeal. I had to go back 3 times to get it solved, they replaced pads ant turned the rotors and it seems to be solved for now. It's definitely something I'm keeping an eye on because I'm not hard on my brakes, at my last oil change just 2k miles ago, I'm still at 10mm pad thickness all around so I've hardly worn down any friction surface.

Woof... this sounds exactly like what I’ve been through, but I’m about 7k since my last new pads and so far I’ve been okay.... makes me sick to my stomach when I smell my brakes hot after driving

Glad to see few others here have broken the 50k mark...I'll be at 55k sooner than I like... :rolleyes:

Might have to get another ride so I can give my Ranger a break... ?
Nah, just use 'er up, and get another Ranger brother. I expect you'll get at least 200K more out of that one before you have to think about getting a new one. Of course at the rate you're going that should be around the summer of 2022. :like:

Had to fix it for ya Jim. Remember Sid is working from home now and still racking up these miles. Once he gets back out all bets are off!

17 Months - 5500 miles and still smells new inside! I have other vehicles and love riding my VICTORY Motorcycle whenever I can - even to run errands. Retired means less mileage now. :wink:

Yep, you're right Dave. I realize that right now Sid's (@Msfitoy) herb garden is what's causing many of the miles he racking up, but when he actually goes back to work it's Katy bar the door. Them miles gonna add up quickly. :)

Will roll 66k on way home today, speaking of breaks Had mine checked on last rotate and had 85% on the fronts and 95% on the backs so no complaints here.
Finally? 66,000miles?! I relinquish my high milage crown to you sir... ?

I'll be at 53 by the end of the week ? about 9 months or so since I bought it and honestly, the past 2 months I haven't drove it a quarter of what I usually do. But come summer time its gonna be full bore again!
