So I tried to order these for my truck last week and no one had them in stock. Found them through Stage 3 Motorsports and I ordered them. They reached out to me yesterday and said they reached out to power stop and the front kit has been discontinued. I had no choice but to cancel my order. I...
Back again .... 1 year of ownership back in March, 66,000 miles. I'd have around 72k on it now but its been at Ford for the past literal month (34 days) waiting on parts that were misordered. Lets see how far she'll go before she starts asking for something. So far so good.
if thats the case then its likely to be with my 5 star tune. i keep the performance tune on in all of my driving and i need to do some data logging to get some kinks out.
2019 Ranger Lariat Supercrew with a 2.5 inch level to fit the 265/70R18's (approx 32.6") and a 5 star 93 perf tune. previously i was able to consistently get around 25 to 26 mpg (95% highway driving) and now with the level kit, tires and tune the most ive seen is around 21.5mpg but more...
I'll be at 53 by the end of the week ? about 9 months or so since I bought it and honestly, the past 2 months I haven't drove it a quarter of what I usually do. But come summer time its gonna be full bore again!
Agreed! Aside from sync phone issues and the transmission taking an occasional nap from 3rd to 4th gear. No issues. And I've been tuned for the last 15k or so and been hard on it. So far so good!
So I'm waiting on my 5 star 93 perf tune. Would you recommend colder plugs with just a tune? 5 star didnt really have any recommendations but I've been meaning to pick their brain. My brother just recently tuned his audi A3 and they recommend new ignition coils and colder plugs. Im curious as to...
it will be 6 months of ownership with my ranger on September 14th, 2020 and i am just over 35k. zero issues, very happy with it! i will probably be at a touch over 50k by years end.
I think the biggest selling point on this unit is drivability. I've put almost 2k miles on this so far and it just seems to make this truck feel healthier. Feels less taxed going through the gears. Smoother power delivery, longer maintenance intervals, and better compatibility if you decide down...
I have been noticing that with the intake installed, the motor has been a little less taxed. Feels like it glides through the gears a little easier. Better low end torque around 1800-2000rpm
Its a deep drone type of tone. It doesn't necessarily come through a specific speaker. It's a surround sound type thing. Its very noticeable for me. Almost every manufacturer has some sort of sound enhancement, bmw is a big offender of that. If there's ever a way to dismantle it I'm sure it will...
