  1. Faint burning smell when parked in the garage

I definitely recommend anyone smelling this checks their rear brake pads often. I only seem to smell it in the winter and my pad wear accelerates in the winter aggressively
  2. Pizza Cutters

Agreed. It is a shame the paint is so thin as my tires aren't even really oversized. Just a step up from stock. I wish I would have put the fender flares and nice mudflaps on right when I bought it to protect the paint. Bedliner is certainly in my future though lol
  3. Pizza Cutters

Yeah I was about to remove my plastidip and wrap them. Couldn't stomach doing bedliner yet lol. I have been using plastidip on my trucks for years but you are right about getting it thick. Its hard up where I live because it is so damn cold that the line before it starts to run is very thin hah....
  4. Pizza Cutters

Looking awesome man. You running plastidip on your rockers? It looks really good... Looks better than plastidip which is why I am curious haha. I did it on mine and it came out alright.
  5. High milage Ranger...

Woof... this sounds exactly like what I’ve been through, but I’m about 7k since my last new pads and so far I’ve been okay.... makes me sick to my stomach when I smell my brakes hot after driving
  6. High milage Ranger...

What brake issues are you having? at 19k I started losing my inner rear pads every 5k miles. The dealer just kept turning my rotors and putting new pads on.... Now I am at 36k
  7. Inner Rear Brake Pads Burning Up

Thank you for that info! This forum is a wealth of knowledge with things like this that I would never know... I also tend to be too nice of of a person in general so I am not great at pushing hard for things. I want to say the rotors have been turned every time the pads were replaced. But I...
  8. Inner Rear Brake Pads Burning Up

I do need to look into it, just hate to have to go that far. Brakes are kind of the biggest deal when it comes to safety. Right next to airbags lol
  9. Inner Rear Brake Pads Burning Up

Thanks for your reply! The Ebrake seems to work normally as it has in my other vehicles i've owned/ driven. My options where I live are severely limited unfortunately being such a small town. I will likely have to go a little further out for my next shop visit. And you've got me on why they...
  10. Inner Rear Brake Pads Burning Up

Sorry for the long wait on this guys. Ford looked at my truck and said my pad wear looks fine this time and my rotors aren't warped (even though they are pitted and blued from heat and being turned over and over). I am getting vibration when slowing down and they say it is the calipers binding...
  11. Inner Rear Brake Pads Burning Up

As of yet, unfortunately no. Ford told me July 21st they ordered new pads and rotors for me to replace the stuff currently on the vehicle and Ford corporate gave them 3 things to check on my truck, but I check with them every week and keep getting told "the parts will arrive next week".
  12. LED Signature Lights

how much for the old housings?
  13. Anyone have these decals?

Thank you! Been trying to figure out the right combo of things I want on it.
  14. Anyone have these decals?

That or if it is a hot day and you get a finger nail under the corner they peel right off haha. Then again I have a black Ranger so it definitely gets a little hotter! I have them in red.
  15. Does Upstate, NY count?

I guess that rules out upstate NY being a part of the meetup since we aren't allowed to converse with any other states
  16. Inner Rear Brake Pads Burning Up

Oh okay, I see what you are saying now. Thank you for that tip. I will check that tonight
  17. Does Upstate, NY count?

Can't blame you there, not much here. I love the slow life here and growing up in the Adirondacks makes it hard to want to be anywhere else for me haha
  18. Inner Rear Brake Pads Burning Up

I guess I can't really speak to the techs necessarily since I don't know them. They have always been pretty good to me with my other vehicles and my family as well and usually find solutions. They replaced the calipers the first time because they couldn't get the pistons to compress when they...
  19. Inner Rear Brake Pads Burning Up

I am using the stock wheels, with slightly larger tires (nothing excessive) at 265 70R/17, with ~1mph difference on the speedometer. I was told that they do not need to adjust the computer for that size since it is so close but I found that weird. But then again, there are people on here with...
  20. Inner Rear Brake Pads Burning Up

Agreed, it is bizarre how it is just the inner pads.. I am crossing my fingers there is a breakthrough soon but I will make sure to keep everyone here updated if they do find the solution!
