Show some cajones. Neutral drop for the win.
In the day you could have it in neutral with the throttle hammered and drop the lever into D. Or another fool I knew who threw it into R while on the freeway. It didn't go so well. Or another friend who decided to do a motorcycle burnout in another friends garage. He caught traction and slammed the washing machine. I heard the washing machine actually worked better after the incident.
O the shittake I've lived through in my youth.
Neutral drop reminds me of how I drove as a dumb teenager. The year was 1990. I was a senior in high school and on the video yearbook team so A coworker at Radio Shack taped this. Enjoy what stupid looks like.

Here's one from the memory banks.
The parents had a new-ish '56 Chev, and it was at the dealers on a lift with transmission issues. (PowerGlide), when some young dude rambles up and says "Hey, is your daughter Mary?"
"Yes" was the reply.
"Man, she can do the best fish-hooks I have ever seen!"
Needless to say, her driving days were over. ?

Ranger Pride.... LMAO

The safe space is down the hall and to the left.
Straight up laughing...OP never mentioned trying to sell the truck anytime soon but Ranger Pride was way too willing to call him a fraud, etc. WTF cross that bridge when it comes my guy...

Much ado about nothing. It's your truck OP, enjoy it how you want. Obviously always be safe and consider others, but after that, let er rip if that's what you wanna do with it

Was out and about last night and got a little bit wild with some friends and other trucks(safe, open roads, no other people around!)...
Had the Ranger at WOT multiple times, multiple attempted burn outs ect. I’m glad to report it handled it very well, temps didn’t even get too high! To get it to spin the wheels good I had to put it in sport and apply breaks and gas at the same time btw. Have a great rest of the weekend and have some fun out there!

That's awesome! It's YOUR TRUCK, have fun with it!

That's not "hard driving", it's just abusing a vehicle...that's probably financed with someone else's money.

Counter-acting the throttle return spring is not a skill. If you want to learn about driving or riding, take a driving or riding class. My background includes being an expert-licensed road racer and road racing instructor. I've ridden the world's most deadly race course (the Isle of Man TT course), and driven the world's most famous race course (the Nurburgring), both at triple-digit speeds. I've been over 200 mph on a motorcycle, and paid my bills for a few years driving in NHRA Pro ET. There's a whole big world out there beyond grinding down your all-season radials...
