Ranger fits in the garage. Wife's minivan doesn't (too wide) so I figure if the forecast is for large and bad hail I'll drive it across town to the quarter car wash and park it in one of the stalls.

Yep... or as we did a few years ago when a HUGE hail storm was forecast, drove to the airport and parked in the multi-level ramp... took a cab home, and got them the next day via cab. The out of pocket cost was WAY cheaper and less stressful than having the vehicles all hailed up and dealing with the insurance company & PDR guy.
