Got my MetalCloak Diff Skid Plate.

Fed Ex delivered my MetalCloak rear diff skid plate today. Quality is amazing.
Fun fact: our Trucks with the E-locker share the same Dana 44/M220 rear end with the Jeep JL Rubicon and TJ.

Looks like it sits tighter against the diff than the RC Jeep version...

Looks nice! Especially the axle-mount, compared to the bolt-mount from RC

An advantage of the RC one (which I have) is that it covers in the back as well, eg for backwards motion. It also sticks out in front further and protects the u-joint flange.

I do like that the RC seems to have more protection than this one. I also have the RC but wish it mounted like this one. It definitely fits nice and tight though

I think most of their stuff is made in house, had a buddy working for them for a welder a while back. If you bought stuff from them when he was welding you got some nice looking parts.

Install was simple Took about 20 mins. Had to adjust the brake lines slightly which was no big deal.
