Well, I've had a really good time with the Ranger and the 5g forum's for the last three years. I sold my Ranger yesterday and bought a new 2022 F-150 FX4 single cab.

I truly blame this on my wife due to her 2022 F150 FX4 supercrew we picked up back in March. Now that I have a new canvas on which to build like I did the Ranger. I'll have an excuse that It was her fault when the UPS and FedEx trucks show up non stop, lol. Now I can truly say we have a His and Hers version of the F150's as I got the same carbonized grey as my wife. However, I must say I've been a fan of the Ford gray ever since I got my 03 Mustang gt Dark Shadow Grey in 03 (that I still own today).

I got the Coyote engine so I didn't get it for the gas mileage. I've had several Mustangs with the 5.0 and I truly miss the speed... However, I do enjoy my off road adventures so I'll split my mods accordingly.

I've really enjoyed the conversations, interactions and sharing my experiences with this awesome Ranger platform that Ford graced us with. It truly was not PawPaws ole Ranger. I loved every minute of it, but alas it was time to move on.

I'm a true Ford fan boy and I've bled Ford blue from the early age of 15 with my 1st Ford. Wouldn't have it any other way! Farewell everyone, I'll pop in from time to time and enjoy all of the endless threads of sniffing oil and tailgate damper dynamics.... bawaaaa.

She’s a beauty. I love the single cab look. You’ll still get pretty decent highway mileage with her if you take it easy, especially with the cylinder deactivation.

Congratulations that is a sweet looking F150. Reminds me of my first truck/vehicle a 1964 Ford with baby moons and Daytona meats. I am sure you will love it and have fun with the mods.

That single cab is really nice to drive and park, it fits in the garage too; If I was single and no dog, that's what I would be driving. The seats are surprisingly comfortable and they are fast, because of the weight difference. The perfect second vehicle.
