I installed the DV+ today and just wanted to vent, had to drill out the charge pipe holes for the bov to 15/64 drill bit as my stock bolts were some kind of weird self-tapper style, nevertheless I got errr done with some 6mm by 45 long bolts with lock nuts just in case anyone runs into this issue. also had to grind off the lower section of the front bolt as there was no room for a lock nut to fit barnacles.

I ran into the same thing with mine. The instructions also say to clock the thing one way but the mounting ears on the thing will only let you mount it one way. They’re not symmetrical spacing on the ears. I reused the factory BOV self threaded screws to mount it. The provided hardware was a no go just as you said. Still on there solid with the factory fasteners though.

Just a reminder, once a year pop it off and lube it up!

Yes, in most cases the included hardware doesn’t do a decent job. I have an upgraded all-metal charge pipe system in place, so longer machine cap screws were the answer.

They are sized out for a reason. I just put a little more tension on the last 1/4 inch and they drove in fine. They sealed like a champ.
