Gap when Tailgate is Closed

I ran 3 days in the desert with a new Popup Camper & picked up a fair amount of dust, but wasn't as bad as I expected. I'll be ordering this tailgate seal: https://tailgateseal.com/FordRanger2019.html

I just use a cheap weather stripping. Use the biggest tou can find.

So far, it's worked great - 8 days of Utah dust and it did ok, I also found a bunch of other places in the bed to seal!

I hope this belongs here, if not feel free to move it. I have a 2022 Ranger with a tonneau cover which does not leak, but I get water coming in where the tailgate and bed meet. I went to my local truck accessory store this morning and they said the problem would be with the angle of the bed portion since it tapers back towards the bulkhead. They could put it on but was not sure how long it would stay on.

My question is has anybody installed a seal on their 2022 Ranger and if so what brand? How is it holding up so far?

Has anybody fixed the gap between the tailgate and the bed?

How are you guys sealing your rear gate?

I've got a soft roll-up bed cover and live on 6 miles of gravel road. As expected, It's dusty.

I've got the sides, the top, and the bottom pretty well taken care of but the pivot points on the bottom corners are the problem.

Any ideas?
