I just had the Bilstein adjustable 5100’s installed at the 1.8” raise, I marked my garage door with tape and then adjusted lower 1.5” went for a ride tonite and counted the cars that passed by on opposite side (stopped at 50 ) not one flashed, so ill continue to monitor but I think they are good they fill in the on dark roads.
BTW these are LED’s not the factory halogens.

is there a way to adjust the lights AND the cuttoff? I have the LEDs with the actuated cutoff. They're really good lights but the hot point of the beam is pointing at the ground while the cutoff is still almost too high. If i could control both I could have really good high beams and safe low beams to not blind people. At the moment it feels like the worst of both worlds.

I notice that when i come over the crest of a slight hill I can see SO FAR but then the vehicle levels out and the beam is pointing at the ground again. Really annoying because I also want to lower my cutoff because it seems to be a bit too high.

Just my experience from reading this thread and not actually looking at the knob. The counter and clockwise is confusing because I think people are thinking that the screwdriver is in the same position as the socket. If go actually look at the adjustment knob, the screwdriver goes from the top in a slot. Turning it to the right moves the knob counterclockwise and lowers the light.

If you use a socket/ratchet you need to turn the actual adjustment knob counterclockwise to lower.

It is indeed easier to use the screwdriver method. I made a mark with a black sharpie and counted my turns.

After re-aiming post leveling (God forbid, with LED conversion!)...I made sure headlamp projection DOES NOT go above the lower edge of the rear glass of any cars in front of me when I pull up on a level road...I then park my truck on side street with low beam on then approach it driving my wife's car...looked good and never been flashed since in the last 140K miles...

I mean at least I'm not that guy with the obnoxious blinding blue halogens but I'm gonna do better. Thanks for all the info.

I leveled my 2wd ranger and I think that's a little over 2inches. I used the screwdriver method and Intially made 10 complete counter clockwise turns. That ended up being way to low. 5 complete turns was perfect.

So depending on your lift.. 5 to 7 turns is where I would start.
