The front of that camper sure is sagging, do those types of campers have any sort of metal continuous frame connecting the mounting points? If so i'd love to buy a POS one and strip it apart for that frame and rebuild something onto it.
lol probably, it's just so predictable to hear someone solving your problem AFTER it happened. I can't take a suitcase generator in my truck everywhere I go incase of a power outage. But in a situation where constant power would be nice, I'd like to figure out how to make the truck run as a...
If you get under the truck and look up at the gap between bed and cab you'll see where they contact. On the quiet side of your truck there will be a a tough black material between the metal of the bed and cab. The loud side won't have it, i believe that's where the noise is. When I rock the cab...
Jeez I sure hope not, had 160 gallons of water in the bed. Pretty sure the truck is listed as 1600lbs in the bed as a limit. My dads truck can take 300 gallons and you don't even know it's back there. Maybe the lariat has a lower bed payload spec?
Regardless still shows how bad the current...
Not talking about the engine auto off/on which happens at stop lights etc. Thankfully you folks and forscan have allowed me to turn that off already.
I'm talking about an idle engine limit. After like 15-30minutes the truck will automatically turn it's self off. It's been difficult to search...
I was hauling water and of course the rear was sagging meaning my led cutoff was blinding people. I turned off my headlights and only used fogs when cars were oncoming. Now i did do the bambi mode mod using forscan so i don't remember if you can activate fogs independently without it. turned out...
when you say they all do it do you mean they all break or this is normal function. i've also found pieces of black foam spat out of the defrost vent. i don't think mine is normal function.
i have the same problem but mine literally "screams" from the back of the dash when on panel and foot. something isn't aligned or there's a blockage or something. i would pay MORE money for a less "sophisticated" hvac system. 3 dials has never failed me motors in an hvac is beyond stupid
if more than 1 vent is selected they lose pressure. any suggestions for fixing this? pressure seems fine when a single vent is selected. when multiple vents are selected i hear a loud noise (the air pressure) in the center of the dash as if there's a leak or something. thanks any advice is...
never recirc, i did see a code or something about my hvac in forscan? Maybe the recirc is stuck open or something? i did consider that but just assumed it was because of the foot vent pulling so much away from the window. I'll have to check.
not recommended at all, just squirt some of your windshield washing fluid on it. it has alcohol in it and will melt it without rapidly heating the glass. not to mention dropping gallons of water on tempered glass isn't a good plan.
also the frost we're discussing is occurring inside the cabin
What a shame, really makes driving the truck in the cold tedious. There's 0 harm in having the side vents included in the defrost vent seeing as you could always seal them to restore full pressure to the defrost. it's unbelievable that my subaru is 20 years older and defrosts with no drama. I...
I thought it was implied but i was hoping someone who has a ranger could test and get back to me. I don't know what that tangent was about but i'm really just going to stop responding at this point.
this is the ONLY vehicle i've ever been in that has defrosting issues at -10, most can have...
