FX4 Recovery Points?

Taking the 2019 FX4 offroading with a friend this weekend & I wanted to verify what my recovery points are for the truck in case either I or they get stuck & we have to pull eachother out. The truck is stock with the towing package although I know to never use the towing ball itself as it can come undone.

See attached pictures & advise what I should use to recover my or their trucks with the straps we have if someone gets stuck so I don't damage my truck. thanks

Front hooks are good to go. Slap on a d ring or soft shackle to get the strap on.

You can get a hitch mounted d ring or just slide the hitch pin through the end of the strap.

Make sure you use the strap properly. If it's just a tow strap don't yank it. Recovery or kinetic ropes stretch and can be yanked a bit

I bought the hitch ring off Amazon cheap enough and two extra D-Rings, also if you are going to be off road a lot a short tree saver strap comes in handy too
I snapped a strap last week snatching a tree out of the ground so make sure your not using a cheap snatch strap
and buy a Lock for it so no one can walk away with it!

when he sees the strap come out he gets out of the way, he dont want to be cut in half, good thing for kids to learn too, when the Chain comes out he walks away LOL
I was pulling a Ram off a beach in Fla a few years ago he was up to the frame, when the chain snapped it went through his back window ...

I have a haul master hitch shackle. You can get at a harbor freight if you don't want to wait for shipping. it's rated for over 1.5 times the max Ranger weight. You could also search for similar shackles are your hardware store; Home Depot or Lowes.

Great minds think alike, I have the same one. lol I bought it a couple years ago for my Jeep and as luck would have it I got a Tremor so the red worked out perfect.

I went with the rhino USA… black slide in and red shackle (they forgot to put in the little washers, told them and they’re sending a pair so that’s nice of them.) It held up pulling my parents John deer ride on top mower out of a muddy spot that my pops got stuck in ( not that impressive but it was the first time I got to use the rear point ?.) so it’ll at least do that ?.

dig the murica flag lettering too..
Thinking about the black and grey American flag lettering so when I swap the blue oval for the smoked oval.
(But im on the fence about doing lettering at all still ?‍?…)
