For a street cruiser truck I like the larger wheel diameter with a thinner tire. For the off road look an all terrain trucks I like a smaller diameter tire with a thicker side wall. That's strictly a looks thing to me an I say run what you like. A guy I know with a JK jeep put 35's on it. I asked if he had to upgrade the axles to handle the tire weight an he said if you a 20" wheel you don't but if you run a 16 or 17" you do. Sounds like the sidewall adds weight if he knew what he's talking about.

Aussie spec XLT, with Everest 20's. Standard offset and road tires. Wheels and car are filthy, so doesn't really do it justice.

Tires are 265/50R20.

Next time I have a wheel off, I'll post the part # for you.

Pics don't really do the rim justice, the two-tone machined and dark grey, looks awesome in person IMHO.

Based on your pics, it looks like I "could" upsize to a 275/50R20 -or- possibly up to a 285/50R20 size tire.

Doesn't look like much tread life on those 20's. highest rating I saw on that list was 500 tire grade

UTQG ratings are to be taken with a grain of salt. While the NHTSA mandates the testing, they don't tell the manufacturers how to test. So you really can't compare them across two brands of tires. A 500 tredlife tire should last twice as long as a 250 treadlife tire from the same manufacturer, but it's hard to say how long that 500 treadlife tire will actually last.
