Have you been off at collage with Andy ? Haven't seen you for a while...
Ha ha,
It was a self exposed time out. Forums or game apps I put it down or not visit for a month or longer just To take a break once in a while.
I have never seen a desert tortoise for sale here. There is a permit process and I believe your place can get inspected to make sure you can provide good care for the desert tortoise In order to be approved.Hi Marc,
They sell imported tortoise...many have worms and other maladies... Buyer beware. Native Tortoise are protected and in Arizona and I think NV, they cannot be sold or purchased under law...
Best,
Phil
I have seen multi million $$ projects come to a halt because someone found a desert tortoise. Gotta contact state, gotta get the biologist on site to investigate, gotta check for more in the area, etc etc.
One solar farm project always had biologist on site everyday. You were required to look under car and tires and walk around your vehicle prior to driving. Don’t want to kill tortoise in shade scenario. The biologist would put 4” plastic tortoise in front of wheel. If you broke the plastic you instantly lost your job on the spot. No exceptions.
