A slow Ranger or a fast tortoise, I dunno. It’s a good looking rig either way.

The gold sticker on the passenger rear window caught my eye at first. I thought it was a hard hat and sunglasses.

I don't mind the big decal on the box, for a company truck, but all the rest need to go. Also, I'd love to see the trailer he's pulling with that hitch set-up. :)

Tito food
Hi Steve,

Way funny....Yesterday I took Tito on a walk around the RV park in a different area. There was some spotty ground cover, and Tito ate a few plants...Then I got to thinking....what are these plants and maybe poison for him... So today I asked the park owner and he immediately investigated.... It was bird seed that had taken root. So no problem for Tito and he liked eating it. So today I took him back over to dine on this ground cover.... Wow! what a upper. Tito started zipping around at full tilt and continued for some 6 hours...Zip here, Zip there... Amazing. He finally tuckered out and is asleep in the Motorhome...But what is this stuff????? RV park owner and I are going to have to figure out what this cast off bird seed is that grew into this sparse ground cover...

Best,
Phil

They supply tortoises ?? I didn’t know that was a thing...
O.K., just having my morning coffee and taking things slowly today, so I googled "tortoise supply Las Vegas," and, yeah, they do breed and supply tortoises and everything you might need to keep them around the house. I did not know that was a thing either, but it is! Anyway, cool-looking company truck!

It is common for people here in Vegas to have desert tortoises at home. My boss has a couple in his back yard that he has had for years.

Even in the corporate office for NV Energy there is a resident named “Wattson”. Get it? Measurement of electricity, the Watt.

Thanks for pointing this out--I had no idea! I noticed on their website that some of those tortoises are going for $700.00, which seems a little high... Maybe I will just get one of those cool decals?

Hi Marc,

They sell imported tortoise...many have worms and other maladies... Buyer beware. Native Tortoise are protected and in Arizona and I think NV, they cannot be sold or purchased under law...

Phil
