I get options I can press to send a reply while driving my 2020 Ranger. About 8 or 9 options, if I remember correctly.
odd, mine are greyed out. even says in the manual that in order to reply, you have to pull over. whats the point as i'd just use my phone then

Can Forscan be used on more than one Ranger? I can't really find the answer, unless I missed it somewhere blatantly obvious.
You can use it on as many Ford vehicles as you want. Just create a different profile for each. The profiles are based on the vehicles VIN.

Hello,

I just started messing with forscan and want to enable dark mode. I’m sick of the truck lighting up like crazy whenever I open a door and that it takes ages for the headlights and tail lights to turn off when I turn off the truck. In forscan I enabled “silent mode control menu” and “dark car”. Neither seem to have made much impact. I also see an option called, “silent mode police telltale” but cannot find anything about it online related to rangers. Am I misunderstanding what these settings do, or am I doing something wrong?

I believe if you enabled both silent mode control mode (IPC) and dark car (BdyCM (Bcm)in forscan you have to go into the menu by the Speedo (controlled by the steering wheel buttons) and scroll down select SETTINGS then find and select VEHICLE scroll down again and find silent mode and select that (check mark means enabled). Enable and disable from here. I think anyways.

Thank you that did the trick!

Is there anything else that can be enabled under the truck info menu? Currently the only option on my 2021 4x4 locking diff XLT is power distribution

Let's try that again - the embedded MOV doesn't seem to play for me, but i can save it and see it works. here's another link:

You should try scrolling *up and down* when on that screen. However, I think the "off-road" screen/gauges are specific to the FX4 package only. However if you look at the wiki you'll find "Off Road Gauge" which you can enable to give you that extra screen if you don't have it already.

I edited my response, I meant up and down, not left and right, but without the FX4 package I think the gauges aren't on from the factory.

I turned on the off road screen for showing incline an hillside degrees of the angle. I don't have the fx4 package. I think I just threw away the cheat sheet I used. I displayed the screen once after activating it but I didn't drive it so I don't know if it actually displays any real data.
