I alsi enabled the traffic sign display, but have Euro signs. Started trying to compare files from those with NA and those with Euro, but got busy. But one common thread seems to be that 2019s have Euro and 2020s have NA signs. Anyone who has seen a conflict to this please comment!
Yes, it must be a module firmware update issue between the 2019 and 2020. I know Forscan has a new beta release that allows you to update module firmware. I'm not sure I'm ready to risk Bricking my IPC though just for this.

I did the change, and now I have US signs on the display. I have two questions: 1) is there any way to make the sign brighter? It's hard to see in the daylight (at least for me), and 2) what is the 2nd block on the right for?? (Picture attached)..

My DRL settings arent working. Made changes and put the truck in gear and my new DRL settings arent working. Do I need to modify the AS BUILT data? Also is there a way to make a backup of the original data?

You backup the asbuilt data by going to the "AS BUILT" procedures and using "SAVE ALL" at the bottom which will save the values to a file.

You don't need to edit these directly for most things, as you can find on the wiki there are GUI settings for them that usually work.

I did use the GUI settings and they read as changed, but nothing is happening with the truck lights.

Just a crazy question but you do have you light switch in the Auto position? DRLs don't work in any other position. Had to ask.:giggle:

Not sure if this has been asked before. I'm interested in doing some forscan updates (lights, fake engine noise, ect). Will this be an issue when I bring my truck to get serviced as throwing a flag? Do you have to return to the original settings before taking in? Is there a finger print that we messed with the settings? I know they can see if you did a Tune modification. Thanks in advance!

if the module you update breaks, they might give you a hard time. I've got lots of forscan updates in my truck and haven't had trouble with the dealer at all. That said, all dealers are different.

You might also have to re-do them if the dealer applies an update to your truck as it usually re-writes the asbuilt data.

No you do not need to return to original settings. All you are doing is changing some settings in your truck. You are not flashing any firmware like you are with a tune.

Excellent - Thank you!

Also, sorry for the noob question - I down loaded forscan with license in Nov. How do I update to the most recent version? Do you have to delete the current version and then download the most recent download, or is there an update option within the forscan program?
