Ridiculous, after the update my truck won't "activate" with my phone.
FordPass is dead. I've tried "everything" nothing works.
Funny, the girl asked "did it work in October?" Why yes it did. Yeah it's the update you have to bring it to the dealer to have them physically install the update.??
Problem is I work nights and sleep days. They won't do it on a Saturday cuz that's just for "maintenance".
Look I bought a Ford they killed a feature available with it, I think they need to accommodate my work schedule.

This last update wigged out my truck phone coupling. Rebooted phone/ paired and unpaired like 3 times and reset head unit. Been working fine since.

My Fordpass seemed to have died Nov 3. That’s the last update of my miles left in tank. Remote functions no longer work. Is there a way to troubleshoot this ?

My tire pressures started reporting incorrectly about that same time. I deleted the app twice before it worked.

Check the settings in Sync3 to be sure everything is enabled. Also make sure your modem ESN is displayed. If blank, the modem could be bad or in a confused state. If it is not displayed, you can try pulling the fuse or disconnecting the battery for a short time to do a hardware reset.

If not the above, have your battery level checked. Or, if you have a charger, just charge it. If the battery is low, then the FordPass features can shut down. I have had this happen when the vehicle sits a lot and the battery was weak.

Tried the unplug battery deal. Nope, didn't work. She's going to the dealer Saturday.

guess you're making time to take it to the dealer then
Yep, Saturday. Found a cool service tech that says bring it in Saturday and he'll take care of it. Thinks it could take as much as 4 hrs. Wondering if I could get away with "test driving' a Bronco for four hrs?? Could hit the trails and see what she can do next to a Ranger.

I just got the update. Ford pass said to start the truck and it would reconnect. It did not but was able to delete the app and now it is working again.

I finally looked at mine after getting a notification last week. My tire pressure works correctly again!

My Fordpass died on Nov 1 right after an update. No modem serial number showing. Took it to the dealership, they tried a Sync reset. Didn't work. Escalating the problem to Ford now. Also tried unhooking the battery for 5 minutes. Still doesn't work. Hoping this gets resolved soon.

I'll be watching to see if you get it fixed. I'm dropping mine off at the dealer Saturday (11/27). Hopefully they'll get the update installed and working. I will let you know if it works.

I chatted with “the fordpass team” and they concluded that something is wrong with my modem. It’s at the dealer today for a seatbelt recall. They said they will look into the modem. Could be a good day or a doubly bad day.

I picked up my truck. Recall fix wasn’t necessary. Service rep told me my modem needs to be replaced and they have it on order. When I got home, the Fordpass app seems to be working fine and connectivity is enabled on the synch display. So, very confusing.
