I had to replace the battery in my 2019 Ranger.
The Battery save mode kept showing up.
The dealer replaced my battery under warranty three days ago.
Well, the next day the indicator alert came on again.
Took my vehicle back to the dealer the next day.
Apparently, this has something to do with my cellphone charges or other plug in devices.
Never had this problem before with any vehicle.
Only time will tell.

Strange, perhaps a batch of defective batteries?
Seems to me that a battery rated with at least 300 CCA should be able to handle electronic device chargers for weeks.
Maybe an even larger parasitic drain on the battery?

"Apparently, this has something to do with my cellphone charges or other plug in devices"

if thats what the service department told you, I wouldn't buy it.

they need to dig a little deeper.
with all the connector troubles the ranger has experienced, i wouldnt be surprised if a powered pin is grounding out somewhere.

do your part and remove any type of charger you use and see if your battery still drains out.
My Jeep compass has a two battery system for the stop start and both batteries went bad in a little over a year and the dealership in Ontario FCA had to replace both of them, they disconnected the stop start battery and charged the main one up and it took 2 months to get them replaced the main battery did hold up so was able to drive it till both replacements came in, they also replace a switch that also failed to run the stop start. The Ford system doesn't seem to have a stop start battery that can be seen so it must run off the one main power source.
There must be a batch of bad ones like FCA had or has.
So do you keep your phone plugged in,, isn't there a battery saver on our Fords like Ram and Chevy claim to have if we leave the lights on or the phone plugged in, maybe not huh?
Your right, there must be a battery drain and regular car batteries can't handle a drain till they go bad the manufacturers need to get that problem fixed with a recall. I think my unit is going bad too because the stop start stopped working for a short time and the menu said battery charging if that keeps happening then bye bye new old battery and hello to a new one, their alternator must not be keeping it charged for some reason so there must also be a failure in the switch that communicates with the charging system who knows though , hope it gets fixed sooner rather than later and warranties are all gone for us and we have to foot the bill for the manufacturers failures and lack of ect...
