Ford Thunder trucks...

As you know I liked the Ford Ranger Thunder in Europe enough to get badges and such from EU for mine. Today I decided to look on the trademarks page and found that in Early 2023 Ford applied for F-150 Thunder, Maverick Thunder trademarks and then later that year, after I bought my badges, a Ranger Thunder. So, maybe before too long we will have some nice street performance truck options from Ford. The trademarks are still "Under Examination" so not granted.

I'm really not the type.. I generally find it a bit... wierd..

But lately I've been thinking about what sort of "faker" decals/badges I can put on my '96 once it's done.. as its gonna be miles more sporty than the ranger sport or splash or whatever else.. (suspension work, general power adding bolt-ons, big cam..)

Svt came to mind but ford made one or two svt rangers that had a 5.0 in them so thats kinda out.. I had thought about thunder cause it's the little brother of lightning more or less.. but didn't realize the thunder package is a real thing first off.. and if it's gonna be a real package here in the future I kinda gotta shy away from that..

Kinda just leaves me with GT.. Ford did make GT rangers back when they were square.. but at this point in time a GT badge kinda needs to be on a fender thats hiding a v8... ?‍ dunno. Ideas?

Cobra? Lol.. its gotta be something that doesn't have the strong odor of cheese.. my liar badges need to be tasteful..

When I learned about the Ranger Thunder my dad was talking about getting a F-150 Lightning. He was planning on waiting for the Tesla charger support at purchase, but got tired of waiting and the prices just kept going up on them, so he got a Tesla Model Y. Anyway, I thought it would have been fun to visit and park the Thunder right next to the Lightning.
