Honestly I wish Ford would just concentrate on building the lineup they have now. Why keep introducing new builds when they can't even get parts for the ones they're building now? If this were 3 years ago I'd say great, but now...?

Isn’t that what they’re doing? Looks like the XL grille, bumpers, and some other “rattler package” blacks bits and pieces.

I agree but in the end, if it sells more truck it is better for everyone. More aftermarket attention and more junk yard selection.

Margin. No other reason. Slap a vinyl sticker and some bolt-on's and mark it up 300%.

Jeep mastered this long ago. They could slap a literal giant dick with a giant vein in it on each side and label it the "Perpetrator" trim. Advertise it as a limited run trim level with only 100 being made and the Jeep community would have them sold out in short order.

I do think its funny that the more bad ass the name, the more of a joke it is.

Take the Dodge TRX with 700+ horsepower.

That is it, its called a TRX.

Then you have Ford's "The Rattler".

The Dodge Demon (Challenger) deserved its name. Fords "Tremor"? Ok, it does what again?

I will give Ford points for the new F150 Lightning, because its fast and electric, so the name fits.

Every truck can be a Rattler, just don't give the workers all the bolts they need to build the damn truck. We did it at GM for years lol

FX4 Lite

Only available on the XL trim on the F-150. I'm sure it will be the same with the Ranger and Maverick.

So there's FX2/FX4, STX, Splash, Tremor and now Rattler. More packages than there are trim levels.
