?EDIT? I found a solution (a ridiculous one at that) I bought the tube with sensor for $35 From my dealer PN- KB3Z-6758-A. Then I just popped it into the new tube and away we go. The "A" is the sensor style tube. See the additional photos below.

At the risk of looking like an absolute idiot, I'm going to ask for a little help here. I bought the Ford Performance oil separator and downloaded the instruction from Ford; and that's where it all went South. Looking at the photo of my 2020 2.3L and the photos from the instructions...where in the hell is my crank case pressure sensor?? It certainly isn't where they say it should be, which is problematic when trying to install the new tube. Am I just blind or stupid? What am I missing?

Is it not what’s in the circle?

No sir unfortunately not. I'm taking about the sensor with the plug on it shown in the instructions. It should be just behind the red circle on the side of the tube but it's definitely not there.

Well, that can't be good haha. I hope I didn't just buy a $300 paperweight. Yours is exactly like mine and I don't think the Ford part is compatible in this configuration.

I purchased the same part for my 23 and faced the same issue you are. My “fix” was to dab black rtv silicone in the small hole where the sensor would go on the new pipe for the oil separator. I let it dry overnight and have not had any issues since I installed in about 300 miles ago. Not the prettiest, but I don’t mind as it is serving it purpose.

Interesting. If all else fails I might give that a shot. Thanks!

I think in true ford fashion, they have bungled the documents for the install.
its lists 2015 to 2022 as the model.
I'm going to assume something changed and the documents/parts didnt follow suit.

I called the tech line on the Ford catch can and made the engineer aware that some of our Rangers don't have the sensor which plugs into the provided hose. I have a build date of 11/21 and no sensor as this post indicates which is a problem. They had me send pictures and verify my build date. I won't order till the fix for this is made as I'm not paying $300 and have to modify the parts to make it work.

You know what they will do right? They will just say it doesn't fit XXXX year rather than change the product.
