Yup same part number with an addon "A" . The "A" stands for oops we will supply the correct hose now!!!!
The sheet show and expert opinions I got trying to do this about a month ago for my MY22.

To get to work I need R23 Lower and B23 Upper. Appears they’ve got got their sheet together finally.

I got an answer from Ford Performance. They said their engineers had confirmed that the M-6766-B23 kit should have the 6K817-R23L hose in it; the same one in the kit for the 2019's. They are overnighting me the right hoses for my 2 trucks.

Anyone who buys the kit for their 20-23 trucks should confirm that the hose that descends towards the turbo is the correct one before snapping the locking collar!
I ordered the M-6766-B23 for my 2020 Ranger from Ford Performance on 8-3-23. It was backordered for a month. I finally got it yesterday and the lower hose doesn't fit. I called the number for customer support, they put me with tech support who gave me an email to explain my issue. No response yet form [email protected].
Now I see that on 8-4-23 they discontinued the part and offer a new kit M-6766-R23A.
No one at Ford admits to ever hearing about a problem regarding lower hoses not fitting, but they redesigned the kit? Hmmm.
Who do I call to get the same results you did?

Just wanted to let everyone know we have updated our site to include both options, also anyone with an existing order has been updated or contacted to verify years. This was a change with FP that we were not aware and made changes as soon as we became aware.

Yeah, I saw you had the new part number listed yesterday, just showing stock of 0 right now. I see you've now updated the item to include a sale price like on the 2019 Ranger and Bronco kits.

Listing was updated and both variations are on order from ford and will be 10-14 days until they arrive and are ready to ship back out.

For those who have installed this CC, is there a significant amount of oil being collected?
And dare i ask, are there installation instructions with this ??
Thanks.

Both of mine shipped with instructions, but they are also on the Ford Performance Parts site for the 2019 Ranger and the Bronco. I'm guessing they were/are still working on the updated instructions for the 20-23 Ranger, but it's the same as the others, minus the sensor on the 2019 Ranger, I think the Bronce instructions still shows 20-23 Ranger in the header of the instructions.

My 2020 has a build date of 11/19. Is the 20-23 kit the correct one for it.?

Should be, but to be sure, look at the PCV hose, if there is a sensor on it close to the attachment to the valve cover it would be the 2019 kit, but since yours is a 2020 it would likely be the updated version without that sensor even though it was built in 2019.
