Well now the new app shows my truck as “vehicle on” when it is not(yesterday it showed “vehicle parked” as it should). It also now as of this AM will not remote start the truck. I even went back to old app and it no longer starts the truck. Wonderful. Got to work and tried it again and it still will not start truck with new or old app. Great.

Never really paid attention to the fuel guage on the app, let a lone the range. But the new version seems to operate just fine. I think it even starts, unlocks a little quicker. Having said that, stuff I used to look at more often like tire pressure is not as quick to see.

As a follow up to my issue that occurred after I upgraded the app, I removed and then added back my truck to ford pass app. Old and new version all working perfect now.

I am on Android 13 and nothing has changed. The Play Store says version 4.35.0 is the current version and was released on 3/28/24. That is the version I have on my phone.

4.35.0 is listed as bug fixes and performance improvements only.

What version do those with the new interface have and what version of Android?

Same here. And nothing has changed in my Fordpass.

I have an Android phone and nothing on the APP has changed since I activated the APP when I purchased the vehicle in Feb 2020. Not complaining - everything still works and reports fine.

Exactly the same except December 2019 for me...

Here's the story on the FordPass app changes:

I just had a long conversation with Ford about the 'new' app version and my escalation on some things not working for one of my two vehicles. So far, they have rolled out this Beta App to 5%-10% of the users. That is why many of you have not seen the option to use the new version. The percent of users to be included will be increasing over the next month or so and eventually, all that will be available is the new version.

They are still adding features such as warranty, service history and other functionality that is missing as several of us have seen.

I told them it would have been helpful if they had communicated that they were rolling out the Beta and they were looking for feedback.

What do you all think of the changes to the Ford app? I don't miss the press and hold requirement to unlock, lock or start. Only 2 tabs at the bottom though to access anything.

I have the new version on ios. When you first open it, you get the old layout. Select 'Enter New Fordpass' for the new layout. You can switch back and forth from the old to the new (restarts each time).

The new version does not work correctly for my 2018 Fusion, but seems to be OK for the 2020 Ranger (but cannot find a way to refresh the vehicle data). On the Fusion, 'Location' and 'Vehicle Health' do not function. Getting an escalation case from Ford on this issue.

You’re not missing much. As mentioned by Alan above, they only released a beta version to about 5-10% of all users so a lot of people don’t have it yet. I have tried it and I am not a fan. The original version of the app is better, in my opinion.

How do you update the app, iphone 14 user?

As far as I can tell. there is no "check for updates" button in the app or in IOS Settings. Go to the App Store> FordPass> What's New> Version History. It should show Version 4.35.0 and a date of ~1 week ago.
This app, like many apps, updates on its own without the user needing to do anything. If you have concerns or errors, delete the app and re install. After re-logging in, all of your settings and info should populate, as that stuff is stored in your phone's memory.

I wish that they would add either battery voltage or State-of-Charge for the 12V battery. I don't drive very much or for enough distance/time to get a good charge.
