This whole deal really sucks for the patient consumers and the small dealerships. I am so glad I got my Ranger a year ago now with no hassles. Ford is making a lot of enemies.

Yeah but I want to test drive the actual vehicle I consider buying. Not test models meant for lack of a better term, marketing purposes. I want to actually drive the one I might buy. That's just me though. If that isn't available from a dealer then where would I get to test drive the vehicle I'm thinking of buying?Don't need a traditional dealership for that. Test drives can still be a thing.
Sounds like something that'd go in the sales contract.Yeah but I want to test drive the actual vehicle I consider buying. Not test models meant for lack of a better term, marketing purposes. I'm the same I would want to test drive before buying. I know with my Bronco I was lucky enough to test drive one on the street and one off road. If my oder comes in and I test drive that one and don't like it my deposit is fully refunded. But that doesn't help me or anyone else who wants/needs a vehicle at the time of delivery. Now you're having to start all over again which I think is just another bomb waiting to go off.Yeah but I want to test drive the actual vehicle I consider buying. Does the Wildtrak come with the swaybar disconnect ? Can you even get one as an option on the Wildtrak ?Not sure if he was referring to a Ranger or a Bronco. If it's a Wildtrak Bronco they're just a higher trim model sold here. It's the model above the Badlands.![]()
Only the Badlands has the sway bar disco.Does the Wildtrak come with the swaybar disconnect ? Can you even get one as an option on the Wildtrak ?
I never understood why Ford made so many trims except of course to push you into more $$$ just to get one feature you may want . You can already option the Badlands to a Wildtrak but you would have to delete the swaybar disconnect .![]()

Dave, sorry to hear about this. By 2024 you will probably be able to find one on a lot at a Phoenix area dealership.I love what the owner of Granger Ford is doing. They also own a Jeep dealership right next door and are offering their order holders a Jeep instead at 4% under invoice. lol
Buy a Wrangler/Gladiator at 4% Under Invoice – if you are tired of the Bronco ride, we can offer you a Wrangler/Gladiator purchase at 4% under invoice and have it delivered to our store in 60-90 days. 2022 Wrangler and Gladiator ordering opened yesterday. Email [email protected] and we’ll be happy to send you a quote.
Thanks Jim. I called Granger but the owner Zach was gone for the day and the salesman knew nothing of the deal as it was just offered this morning. So Monday I'll call back and see what their price is. I priced out a fairly loaded Rubicon 2dr hard top with the 3.6L V6 8 speed auto and msrp was $50,040.00. With invoice pricing and an additional 4% off it should be cheaper than my Bronco order. I honestly know nothing about these 3.6L motors, are they any good, any problems with them?Dave, sorry to hear about this. I do like what the Granger Ford owner is offering on Jeeps.
First world problem.…Many like myself have had to buy something just to get us by during the wait which will cost us even more money lost at trade in time
LOL!...
Won’t be long before the fans in the stadiums across the country change their chants from F Joe Biden to F Ford Motor Co. ?
Yep , we should all send our 50k to a starving 2nd world country. I would say send it to the more deserving 3rd world country but you know , allocations and all that .First world problem.…
I know nothing about the 3.6L. I do work with a guy who has a 4 door Wrangler. I'll ask him about it. I have heard that Wranglers have real good resale value, so if you want to sell it in a few years, you may not be that bad off. Thanks Jim.
