A lot negative comments about R6G, I wonder if the dancing banana is over there.

If this is him than yes. I haven't seen too much trolling over on 6G, but there isn't much fun either. I still check here even though I no longer have a 5G because I enjoy the comments. 6G is mostly Raptor talk.A lot negative comments about R6G, I wonder if the dancing banana is over there.
OMG, that was just a wild ass guess. It was a glorious day when he got banned from R5G.If this is him than yes. I haven't seen too much trolling over on 6G, but there isn't much fun either. I still check here even though I no longer have a 5G because I enjoy the comments. 6G is mostly Raptor talk.

is the ranger using the 2.7 eco thats in the f150? if so i have that in my 17 f150 and its a lot quicker then my old 22 ranger could because i dont have the 10r80 thou. Finally gave in to the curiosity and test drove a ā24 XLT with the 2.7L.
All in all, seems like it addresses my gripes with my 2019 while somehow also feeling the same. While Iād enjoy a longer bed option, the 2024 certainly felt more stable than the 2019 as it drove. Going through curves it felt confident and the weight of it felt substantial enough to make it feel predictable in some way.
I really expected the 2.7L to be peppier. Especially if thereās a cam phaser risk associated with them then Iād want a performance tradeoff. I didnāt try sport mode tho.
Maybe itās because it was new, but the ā24 did feel better built. Something about it just felt more solid. Almost the feeling I get in my wifeās 4Runner.
One perk of the 2.7L is it didnāt sound like an angry sewing machine. Just sounded proper!
In the end I told my wife it seemed like my 2019 but 5% better in nearly every way. Iām not sure 5% is enough to make it worth the new loan tho.
odd note: I went to Ranger6g to read up on stuff before going to the dealer. That crew is a bunch of cranky hoes. Everyone seems like theyāre itching for a forum fight, and any request for info is met with a rude āGoogle it yourselfā response. What a cold, sad place.
a scab mavrick would have my gf dragging me to a dealer to buy one lol. until then she is looking for an older 4x4 ranger so she can have a small little 4x4!I'm not going shopping for a new truck without a scab/6' bed. Or, if they decide to make a scab maverick, which they ain't.
I had an outback. Loved it. If I didn't need a truck I would have an outback.
love the blue! about bought another ranger but we needed a larger truck!I upgraded too from a 5g to 6g.
I still drive a 5g for work but my personal vehicle is a 6g.
The LED headlights and the interior is the biggest changes. They are both good with the 6g having the edge for sure.

yep, it's the same 2.7L from the f150, tho i believe it is detuned a bit. mated to the 10R60 transmission on this 2024+ ranger.is the ranger using the 2.7 eco thats in the f150? if so i have that in my 17 f150 and its a lot quicker then my old 22 ranger could because i dont have the 10r80 thou.
ah interesting makes me want to go drive one to compare to my bloated truck lolyep, it's the same 2.7L from the f150, tho i believe it is detuned a bit. mated to the 10R60 transmission on this 2024+ ranger.
If I was going to update, I would want the Raptor 3.0 it has to be a beast at 405 HP.Finally gave in to the curiosity and test drove a ā24 XLT with the 2.7L.

correct. they moved on to the 10R60 in 2024. it seems to be to great effect as many people reviews state how smooth it shifts. on my test drive i felt some of the slop the 10R80 has (but not nearly as noticeable), but it only had 4 miles on it. the transmission was still quite new.ah interesting makes me want to go drive one to compare to my bloated truck lol
oh they have a 10r60 now? interesting it doesnt have the 10r80?
ya i was reading a lot of people were stating it was better then the r80 but i cant say anything since i havent driven one lol.correct. they moved on to the 10R60 in 2024. it seems to be to great effect as many people reviews state how smooth it shifts. on my test drive i felt some of the slop the 10R80 has (but not nearly as noticeable), but it only had 4 miles on it. the transmission was still quite new.
