When I bought my 2022 lariat I sent emails to 3 Ford dealers asking for the best cash price on their next incoming lariat. 2 came back with a $1000.00 mark up and one came back with a couple hundred discount. Called them and asked to put my name on it. Was emailed a contract that included a zero deductible extended warranty with LED coverage. Signed it and emailed it back with no deposit. Got a call when it arrived and less then 30 minutes in the dealership was all it took. They didn't want $50k cash in the dealership so I wound up just writing a personal check. Easiest vehicle I ever bought. But the wait was terrible with shipping delays.
I saw a 6g this week in the Costco parking lot and they sure look like a old F150 size with a fugly front end. Was a new Nissan mid size next to it with big wheels/ tires and great graphics that looked awesome with it's futuristic front design. Just nothing that catches your eye as new and improved on the Ranger. Just seems to be made for F150 wannabes with tiny garages and wallets.
