While I have never been fond of chrome, the I have always hated the black appearance packs. So tired of blackout rims making up 95% of the choices....

agreed. i was tired of black rims about 14 seconds after seeing it for the first time...
im old and i like some old school stuff. but im over black rims. they kept me from buying a mustang gt pp. i hated those dumb wheels. now what should make a come back is the old white wagon rims with the red and blue pin stripe around the edge! those were the poop when i was little. every thing that had 4wd seemed to have them lol. i do like the black rims better than the lariat rims though. its not so much the chrome ish look its the shape. seems to busy or something .

Well like the OP I was offered a great deal on a demo vehicle with 700 odo miles and the chrome package - admittedly chrome wasn't my preference but when the sales person threw in a cane and a couple bottles of geritol it was a done deal.

they got me to sign when they added a weeks worth of preparation h...

Don’t want to thread jack, but getting rid of chrome changed my truck.

I just went grey as the blackout thing can be a bit much on white.

My truck had the chrome package on it when I found it. I wouldn't have ordered it. I'm ok with it. I have some chrome on my Harley. The blacked out look is getting old too. The chrome is tough an easy to care for. The worst thing is there aren't many options for aftermarket chrome wheels. If something happens to the bumpers I might replace them with black so I could get aftermarket wheel. My neighbor has a black ranger with chrome an I think it looks good.

I like a white truck with black wheels an bumpers an I think my silver would look ok with that combo.

We ordered Sport Package for the magnetic trim. Never thought much about chrome until I saw pics of Phil's @P. A. Schilke White Platinum with chrome package. CLASSY !!

I got a heck of a deal on my 2020 Ranger (I wanted the supercab with the longer bed), and love the Lariat trim but hated the CHROME. I changed out the grill to a FORD big lettered one and rims with some Black Appearance packaged take offs off eBAY. I used HYPERDIP on the side vents and rear camera. IMO it looks so much better!! I bought a leveling kit, so that will be done one of these weekends. It's DIRTY... Just got back from a 600 mile road trip. I want to remove the bed lettering as well.

I think OPs truck just needs to be cleaned and the wheels will match muuuuch better. I have the exact same truck and what a difference it makes when the tires are cleaned and shined. You’ve got brand new rims on a dirty truck lol as he stated in his original post
