My company has lots of company vehicles. All Fords and mostly F350's. Here is a comparison of our 5 G Rangers with the F350's. The company trucks are all 4 door and 8' beds. Makes my truck look small. It seems like the F350 is 6' longer OMG.

They are massive. My Ranger barely fits in the garage at our new house. A full size wouldn't fit. Not sure the 350 would even fit in the driveway?

That's a huge difference Mark. I really love the size of our Rangers and hope they don't get much bigger (I'm sure they will) over the next Gen. They're easy to maneuver, easy to park and fit in the garage. If/when they do (get larger) we'll all be driving a Maverick because by then, those will be the same size as our 5G's. lol

Crazy big. Just nuts. I shopped them hard. For months. Just trying to plan ahead for retirement. (RV, etc.) But I just don't need that size of vehicle in my life on a daily basis.

The Warden was SO glad I bought the Ranger. She was less than thrilled with my truck shopping until I told her I was looking at the Ranger.

Okay, you got me curious, so I built out an F-250 King Ranch TREMOR (who knew that you could do this?!) with a 6.7L High Output Turbo Diesel with over 1,200 ft.-lbs of torque, all the towing bells and whistles, and a 12,000 pound winch.

This bad boy can be built for $102,000, and frankly, dare I say, that's an awful lot of capability for the money. If I had a ranch or something huge to tow like a travel trailer, I could see owning this.

? being on the Maverick Truck Club forum and here. The majority of them bought for size because it’s basically the same size as an older model ranger. Plus the price point. The Maverick cab is roomier than my Ranger but since we have both i drive my Ranger for towing hauling, 4 wheeling etc.. We drive the Maverick hybrid for fuel efficiency on long trips unless we need the Ranger capability. The Maverick is a great road vehicle and drives nice. I still prefer my Ranger and make every excuse possible to take it on our trips..

I had an ‘97 F-350 Crew Cab for over ten years in California. Decided to sell it, cheap, cheaper, cheapest! No takers. Put it nation wide a a buyer from Ohio bought it, for 3K five years ago. Had my Ranger a year now. so much easier In San Diego.

yes if it was a 2 door... 4 door

4 doors belong on unibodies. real trucks and their users don't need passengers

I was going to build it out as a two-door, but I must have missed the step to do that. I might have to try it again.

My truck never really feels that small and I'm not a tiny person

Until....

I ride with my boss and his new F250 on the six hour trip to our smaller facility. We get back and I jump in the Ranger to go home.... yeah. Not the same... but I burn half the fuel and it is way easier to park.
