Ecoboost Emblem on Tailgate (Not used anymore)

I think I'll look for a circa 1985 badge that says "fuel injected". Or maybe "power steering".

Or "Front Disc Brakes" like a late 60's car. Come to think of it Tacoma owners could use it too.

Found this one on Amazon. Thinking about replacing mine with it. Think it will look better on Lightning Blue. Less chrome is always better. The original now lives under the hood.

i got a microfiber cloth snagged in it and it bent the little leaf out and it never sat flat again so i just took the entire emblem off. easier to wash and wax

Darn it. Looking at that makes we want to bring symmetry back to the rear and yank that off. Uh, what's the way to do this without damage? I could always mount it under the hood somewhere...

Heat gun and heavy fishing line. Then goof off the residue from the adhesive. There are plenty of youtube videos on removing emblems

I'm leaving mine on. The label does have a bit of history - as you all know, the Ford GT40 won Le Mans in 2016 (50 years after winning in 1966 1-2-3) and also took 3rd and 4th place. These cars used the Ecoboost Engine, so I'd like to think that possibly a bit of that winning technology might have made its way into our Ranger Ecoboost engines. Sad that the label is going away.
