  1. What would your dream car be if not a Ford?

Ugh! Okay beer o’clock for me! ā€œNo posting fer you!ā€
  2. What would your dream car be if not a Ford?

Would be nice if I could figure out what all these buttons do in this technology (don’t touch the ā€œPostā€ button, till you are done! Okay, besides my Porsche wishes I will show you why I have had those dreams. Just out of the Army, the VA sent me to Nursing school (I hated it, but PA school...
  3. Another Weathertech Bug Deflector/Hood Protector Question

Paul- I did mean to complement you on your truck. The color was my second choice but that chili pepper red (CPR) I call it is so pretty on a sunny day, and not too many around here. Sure, I paid almost $500.00 for it, but with my dealer’s incentives that, the tremor pkg. and factory bed were...
  4. What would your dream car be if not a Ford?

1956 Porsche Spyder and drive it like James Dean….Not!…or 1977 911 Turbo w a whale tail. A h.s. classmate’s dad had one….been in love ever since!
  5. Another Weathertech Bug Deflector/Hood Protector Question

I have been wanting to buy the Armordillo AR Pre-runner grille Guard which the best price was $702.00 (but with a $40. shipping charge) When I found it at CarId they cut it to the $500’s but added a $265.00 s&h cost totaling near $1k. Finally after 2 months, I found it on AMZN for $702.00 & free...
  6. Another Weathertech Bug Deflector/Hood Protector Question

Steve- Funny the seller IS Weathertech! I went with the AVS version. Thx for your feedback.
  7. Another Weathertech Bug Deflector/Hood Protector Question

Dave- I agree with you and IdahoRanger the AVS may be a better fit. When I contacted the ā€œseller ā€œ on AMZN, guess what?! It’s Weathertech. I’m trying to send it back, but purchased the AVS one already. I bet, alike my snafu with Blackhorseoffroad, some knucklehead mid-labeled this product. In...
  8. Another Weathertech Bug Deflector/Hood Protector Question

I think I will be buying the same as yours. It appears cheaper, but more importantly seems to fit better per this forum. My wife says TY for the comment on her car. We just put it in the garage this week to get the paint redone, new convertible top and get shocks which don’t Jack-hammer your...
  9. Another Weathertech Bug Deflector/Hood Protector Question

I know, I know, I was on here for my window's deflectors and after 3 months of hot summer weather, they adapted. Thank you for the recommendations of 'patience'. My new issue is with my new 2022 Tremor ('build' Post coming soon....the week I was defending my dissertation, it arrived....guess...
  10. What is the best Ranger color?

"Chili Pepper Red" X 2. That was listed on my 2019.5 window sticker (which I recently tossed, bc I bought a new 2022 XLT Tremor in CPR!) Also my sticker said 2019.5, which I have never seen since or mentioned on this forum. The Dealer/Service Mgr didn't know what it meant either. CPR came out...
  11. 2022 folding mirrors

Kevin- Where did you get that mod? Thx
  12. 2022 folding mirrors

JFTR my 2022 XLT Tremor did not come with auto-folding-non-manual mirrors. The button is where it was on my 2019 that I recently turned in. Just another option that 2019’s had that newer ones don’t (hood hydraulics, auto mirrors, & 6 tie-downs) and still no tailgate dampers!!
  13. Welcome Back Tracy!

Rick- My wife should trade recipes, what?!, wait, forget that idea they might start talking abt mods and the $$$$ invested in our trucks. But my wife drank all the Kool-Aid and took on this life-style. Some of her recipes are AWESOME. Really tasty. I know I know, I like my chicken and turkey...
  14. Welcome Back Tracy!

Tracy, hi I’m Bill. Tux says ā€œhiā€ too! I can certainly understand the steak comment. Even REAL bacon as opposed to Turkey bacon ??. Lots of fruits and green vegetables will better your lipids, even if you cheat with more than one day a week having red meat. I will end my soap box by saying, your...
  15. Any problems installing, maintaining or removing stick-on tailgate letters?

I only had A-N-G-E-R on mine. I thought it was clever only to find out it was an 80’s thing. I took off the second R to name her ā€˜Ange’ and the adhesive wouldn’t come off for months! Even after multiple applications of Goo Gone and using bondo tools.
  16. Welcome Back Tracy!

Welcome back Tracy! I too was gone finishing my degree requirements. Yes posters are right, you bring a calmness to the posts. Wanna cuss at these grumpy old farts, but I ā€˜try’ not to cuss in front of women, children and anyone affiliated with academia. You are missed. P.S. My wife went Vegan...
  17. Do Snow Foams Really Work?

Dave- Cracks me up these YouTubers (isn't that a vegetable?) try to conduct an experiment. They describe the "Introduction" and "Methods", and then they don't execute the methods the same to all variables. If you are going to use a "Control" you have to treat it the same as to all the...
  18. Wheel well liners! Someone make these

.....and bed step-side inserts you place in a hole you cut out of your rear quarter panel, like the 2024 Ranger Raptor will have. Instead I have to buy and entire rear bumper that looks like it was made by GM....
  19. With What After-Market Manufacturers Know About Future Generations of the Ford Ranger Line, Why Don't They Make....

Bed step-sides! Plastic or fiberglass insert that slides into the rear quarter-panel after you cut out the template provided. It could attach to the million braces, bolts, beams under the rear of the truck. Could be paint-able or matt black (chrome? with diamond-plate grip?). And don't say you...
