Last week cruising down the road this guy in a Tacoma pulled up next to me. We looked at each other and I just knew he thought he could drop this old man in his chromed out Ranger. Light changed and I left him in the dust. Always feels good to leave those Tacos and Chevy's wondering how in the name of sunny jim a four banger can get after it like that.

I have yet to get mine to the track, but magazine times put the Ranger all over the mild flavors of hot hatches. Not slow for sure.

My last car was a mid to low 15 sec car depending on temp etc. My 2wd Ranger feels faster; even more so when accelerating from around 40ish to get on the highway.

I was going with a tune to make it as fast as my mid-upper 13 sec car (smashed in a wreck.. and I replaced it with something cheaper to run) - but still going back and forth on a long warranty or tune - not going to do both because anything powertrain (except maybe a sensor, etc) they could blame on the extra power pretty easily.

Someone posted a timeslip once, said their Ranger was stock, and it showed 14.8 seconds.
Considering that mine (stock) will break the rear tires loose at 35 mph when I give it the boot and the boost spools up, I can believe it.
The only drag strip near me is 1/8 mile, not sure how that would relate.

About a 9.2-9.4 in 1/8 mile
