Went over to my local medical center this am(the kind with real MDs and not budtenders) and upon leaving I noticed 3 other 5G Ford Rangers in the parking lot and not a single Tacoma, this in my small town where I'd say Tacomas outnumber Rangers by 5 to 1. Could it be that Toyota owners take after their trucks and need less maintenance ?
As to the outcome of the MD visit with respect to helping my ever worsening joint woes, I would have been better off staying home and smoking some weed.

Maybe the Tacoma owners aren't stressed out over fuel in oil? Lol, is this an example of "how the argument started"?

Edit: To be fair, I may have gone too far on that example. I would have used because Tacoma owners aren't stressed over how their transmission is shifting, but that would have been a lie cause they have their own issues with shifting clunkiness.

?

I hear you on the joints. Had a cortisone shot to the knee a few weeks ago and it lasted maybe a week. Lots of Taco's here too but do see more Rangers.

All my lumbar discs are arthritic and 2 are herniated, facets also worn and prior to an mri had never heard of facets. Ankles, knees, hips, back, neck all arthritic , but when back gives it up its the worst. Used to be a runner, motocross racer, mogul skier and those days are long gone. I'll get another spinal epidural but they don't last 2 months at best, serious about 420 as I can get a decent night's sleep smoking it.

Seeing more Broncos as time goes by, but what I am seeing are big big numbers of people towing RZRs and other 4x4 trail machines and last summer saw many on forest services roads just cruising around, many wearing dust masks . Wonder when that market will be saturated.

Neighbor got his Eruption Green Bronco but I haven't stolen a picture yet. I have another neighbor who puts a plug into my wife's ear all the time about us getting a RZR for our cabin. Drip, drip, drip the hint and maybe she'll get the message. ?

Is this the orthopedic forum?
I'm certainly with y'all, 7 spinal surgeries 4 lumbar 3 cervical, I am getting facet joint injections in my neck Monday, have had several and now I am considering ablation. What fun. Main reason I chose Ranger over Tacoma is comfort, a Ranger is far more comfortable than a Tacoma. My wife has a Tacoma (I would have said Taco., buuut..) bought it before I purchased my Ranger so I had some time in one. I have been a Ford owner most of my adult driving life, they certainly aren't perfect and I know a Taco will outlast one but there is something that keeps me in a Ford...My opinion of course.

I wonder this too, here in the Northeast it's not super friendly to off-roading with greater than 50".... hell, in NY they aren't even real fond of you continuing to breathe without paying the tax.

Of course, here in San Diego, at the opposite end of the Ranger supply chain, there are more Taco's of every model year than their are all the rangers and broncos combined!!!!
