General Tire doesn't list an LT C in that size. Made special for Ford ?
If they are like my 275's then they are likely range e. Definitely not light tires ha.

Im kind of curious.... do the tremors have different crash bars? I swear in the fitment thread ppl rubbed with 265/75 depending on offset of wheels

edit: ohh looks like 265/70 so a smudge smaller nm

So I contacted a local dealer about getting one, the salesman wussed out and suggested I go to Ford.com.

So my cap would still kind of match. Dealer gave me a rough internet trade in of $35k, I paid $36k for it. I might take them up on it.
The used market is so crazy right now. You've also got my mind working its magic again with ideas. My wife will not be happy with you.

They look exactly the same. You corrected your statement with 70 series I see.
I was at the dealer this morning and they have a 2" Ready Lift level on the below truck with aftermarket rims and 265-70-17 tires and they completely removed the crash bars fore and aft. I was really shocked.

Nice looking truck.
Has anyone compared the Tremor to the 3 Ford Performance packages available?
Lots of auto blogs and magazines have. Main difference is the tuning of the suspension, particularly in the rear; performance packages are off the shelf parts swaps, where the Tremor parts are supposedly tuned for the truck. Reviewers claim the ride is more refined and controlled in the Tremor, particularly off-road.

I had a chance to drive a Tremor today on a long deserted dirt road in SW Florida where we've had rain the past 2 days. It is amazing how well it handles everything from sharp dips to washboard. The truck is well planted and behaves at both high speeds (50ish+ mph) and lower speeds. It is very responsive on the street as well. Honestly the best factory off road package I've driven since a F150 Raptor I drove a couple years back. I have not driven a Ram T-Rex so no compare there.

My local dealer called to let me know they had a Lariat Tremor in stock.. I went to take a look/drive before delivery of mine scheduled for May.

Initial reaction.. The look is unique for OEM.. formidable, muscular, capable, and stout. The wheels, 32 inch tires, suspension, and flares give it a much more agressive off road look The tread is deeper with wider voids than many ATs. The fender flares are very noticable. The stance looks ready to go get the job done.

The drive was smooth compliant and controlled. I hit a speed bump at about 6 mph. The front and rear suspension response felt nearly identical, firm but compliant. No bone jarring rebound. Swerving back and forth on pavement at about 30 mph was controlled and fun. Moderate acceleration caused the tires to scrub nearly braking loose on 70 degree dry pavement.

This thing is fun to drive, balanced both in looks and drivability.

Ive owned a few trucks and cherokees, modified and stock. I dont think the Tremor Ranger will need anything signifant to make it a great all around recreation vehicle, workhorse, and comfy passenger shuttle.
