Take it in and most likely they will reset it and perform an adaptive relearn. I did that to mine as it had a very harsh shift in and out of 4th on medium accel.
i reset it and did adaptive drive cycle and its good to go. We also see a few bad valve bores from time to time in the main control...
I have put lifts on like that in the past, however with my plan of torquing the fasteners are curb weight, taking the lower control arm down wasnt an option.
Taking the CV out does not damage it and the hubs and axle itself are not the set up like the f150s have that require attention to detail...
Can you elaborate on what you mean by this?
I took them fully out of knuckle so when i was prying down lower control arm it didnt stress the axle and when going back together supporting the lower control arm before tightening so the weight was on the vehicle and the axle wasnt in a bind or odd...
took this after work front front.
The cv angles are not bad at all. I see lifted f150s come in all the time with cv angles way worse than this.
not seeing any front end issues from it and no 4x4 issues either. Functions good and looks good.
Gotta say im pretty sad about this one. Those 1.0L engines blow all the time contributed quite healthily to my paycheck up to this point. Will be sad to see less out there.
Our dealer sells these and I cannot stand working on them. The one credit i will give to the company who upfits them is that they are very fair with paying for parts that fail as a result of the mods.
It is .5” lower in the front after install/alignment.
And yes it is a big perk. Once i transition out of this business in a few years i want to install a two post in my shop.
nah not really any concern for that at all. Ive put suspension parts on raptor’s and seen those trucks in for service for years with no detrimental effects.
You dont need to purge any air , since you are doing pads and rotors, there are no special steps.
Just remove the pads, remove rotors, compress the pistons in with a c-clamp, install new pads and rotors.
No need to bleed brakes unless you're putting calipers on.
Just wanted to thank Robert and anyone else who works with ford ranger lifts. Ordered my 2” tremor level from them last week, shipping was 2-3 days, packaged nicely.
Today was my saturday to work and took the time to install the kit today. Having a lift makes it a breeze and after some slight...
I just got my truck about a week ago and noticed this too. I brought mine in after work and did a update to sync system and it did fix it. Did not pay attention to the before/after calibration level.
I was curious if you had any pictures posted of your truxedo cover and how your experience has been? I am considering getting the same one you stated, however wanted to see how it has worked for you?
Weird question, is it weatherproof? I don't expect it to keep all the water out, but If I were...
Sorry for replying to an older post, however which truxedo did you get and do you have any pictures of it? Trying to decide on which cover I want, I believe im going to get the tuxedo low pro, but wanted to see how your experience has been?
The turbocharger has both coolant and oil lines running through it. I think the turbo idle time is valid if youve been towing or running it hard, but for daily driving around town youre fine.
