So not sure why but I haven't seen too many posts on this in the search.

Bottom line - get a good fender cover or go in and remove those dang sharp corners on the fan shroud. Them things will cut you up if your not careful!

Second, coming off with them isn't too bad. Be careful with that plug on the fan clutch as it was a bit fiddly to get off.

Lastly, the Alt belt can go on from up top. The AC/WP belt for sure is easier to go on from underneath.

As it was surface of the sun hot I did not take pics or do any kind of video. I had 90k miles on the belts and they didn't look bad but at 90k and the amount of driving I do...well...yeah. The idlers and such didn't look or feel rough so I passed on them.

I’m changing both of my belts tomorrow as they haven’t been changed as far as I know. 2019 with 109k miles so I feel like they are on borrowed time. How much swearing was involved with yours?

Again the waffle pattern on the fan shroud was awesome in how it tried to bleed me.

As stated go at them from the bottom. Also give a GOOD look around your harmonic balancer seal - if its weeping it can eventually mess up your crank angle sensor. That seal was fun to change and a bugger to get all the tools gathered but I got it done.

Hope it goes well!

The front belt was easy, the second one not so much. Decided to leave that for next weekend as it started to get hot by noon so I’ll be sure to inspect that seal though I didn’t see any leaks anywhere. Also tried to fix my backup camera with the new harness and that didn’t fix it.
