Put it in D and press the a button on the shift to display the gears. See if it skips 2nd.
It does skip 2nd and 4th gears during normal driving.
Could be that you have some items that were deleted on the 2020. ?
For sure. I like the folding rear headrests and the extra tie downs in the bed. The one I didn't even know I had lost on the 2020 is the front parking sensors.
Congratulations on the supercab.
A couple of things:...
But to be sure, seek out someone locally who can check it through Forscan. A good reputable speed shop with a dyno could tell you but of course you have to spend some dough.
I have forscan and wish I knew what to look for in there. I won't be paying for a dyno to find out, not willing to spend cash on that right now.

I think the fact it's lighter and Blue are the answer ???

Edit. Auto start/stop seems to work fine. So fine that I disabled it with forscan.

Maybe you should get the draggy app and see what it will do 0-60. Compare to what people are seeing here before and after a tune.

what kind of fuel did they use or do you use. FP needs 91+ and if you run 87 the truck will not be happy under WOT... but if you want to know go to any Ford dealership they can tell if it's tuned

I bought a 2019 SCab after selling my 2020 Crew. This 2019 is very peppy compared to my 2020. It also gets a little bit better gas mileage, maybe due to less weight. I run in D or Tow mode, to see what gear i'm in.

I wonder if it has a Ford or aftermarket tune. I don't think so, the truck looks 100% stock, it's just quicker.

Can Forscan detect/reveal a different tune than stock. Can It show a programming # or some data that shows its stock?. have only used forscan to change software settings. I have not used any of the diagnostic features.

The new ride.

New ride looks great! The increased MPG is probably due to the window air deflectors. lol

I forgot I had one! Thanks for the reminder. I did a few dragy runs with a best of 6.67 sec 0-60 with a light brake boost launch. I think I could get better times with a little effort.

I had been running the low octane cheap stuff at first. It didn't seem unhappy, seemed peppy like I had said.. I'm on 93 octane presently and that it what I was running with the dragy.

Thanks. the deflectors are still on for now.

All signs point to stock tune. I'm not unhappy about that. This little truck runs great as is.

You guys are crazy. The Supercab is not faster because its’s a Supercab. It’s faster because it is Blue.
I love where you went with this.

I have done only two 0-60 runs, one before the Gibson catback install and one after. They were 10 and 6 seconds respectively. I think I totally blew the start on the first one. I can't owe a gain of 4 seconds to the exhaust. They were both soft starts, which I think means just flooring with with out pre-reving it. I am confident I can do well below 6 if I tried.
