Here Is Every 2022 Ford Impacted By The Wi-Fi Hotspot Removal Update
Rangers not listed, but I have never been able to figure how this makes sense. Pretty much all cell phones have this capability these days and the cost of the separate "line" for the truck could be rolled into your current cell phone deal.
I did the free 30days and only used it to test it. As it has to be ATT and I am already an AWS customer I figured I could combine it with my current account - I couldn't. Maybe a couple of hours on the phone could have sorted it!

Anyway just curiuos if anybody uses it.

Used it once when new and it was slower than my cellphone.

Haven't used it since and that was 2.5 years ago.

I have it, took the deal that AT&T was offering of full year unlimited for 200 bucks. It's nicer than having to abuse my unlimited data plan and since we do travel its better than dealing with unbearably slow service at times on the interstate. Though I need to see about getting my modem reset since the speeds are slower than what they should be.

I have the $200 a year plan too. My wife has an ATT 5 gig plan, and I have a Verizon 15 gig plan for phones. We travel a lot, and bought the Ranger as our travel tow rig. It’s nice to be able to use the larger iPad screen when checking out routes and places. It also sometimes gets signal when the phones won’t. If we didn’t travel 6 months a year, I wouldn’t do it, but it’s been helpful.

I have a subscription and use the hotspot wi-fi daily. My phone plan sucks and is slow anyway. The hotspot lets me mount my iPad mini (w/ GPS) on the dashboard and use it like an infotainment system with music streaming, navigation, video, etc.

Same experience as most people. Used it when it was new and we were traveling a lot and working remotely. It came in pretty handy and could sometimes get reception when we didn't have any on our phones. Couldn't justify the cost but if I traveled more I thought it was very useful.

Unless younare in an area where AT&T works there is no point in using it. With that said if AT&T works so does every other Network. Mind you I have Verizon and here in the Rockies you use either Verizon or T-Mobile

I use it. My wife and I have a $7.00 a month Tracfones with minimal 4g but no taxes or surcharges. $15 a month for unlimited 4g with no taxes or surcharges is a deal for us. Plus you can set up a tablet with movies for the grandkids. Also have An Amazon dot hooked to it so I can just drop in at home without using the phone. Plug it in the outlet and ass doesn't shut down.

Never used it on any vehicle we own and haven't found a need to. Prices are crazy, too.
Same. I've had a few trucks with this "feature" never used it. Especially when most phone plans nowadays come with free hotspot. I have unlimited hotspot with my T-Mobile plan.
