resuscitating this thread instead of starting a new one. anyone found a rubber liner for the dash tray? need something to keep my sunglasses from sliding around. ive searched amazon and the interwebs and didnt find anything. TIA
I had a piece of this laying around, so I cut it to match the tray. Haven't had any issues with things flying around.

I stick my sunglasses behind the steering wheel just below the dash on the soft material. Never goes anywhere.

That's where I stick those permit tags that are supposed to hang off of the rearview mirror; you can't do that with the camera housing, and in any case, I never linked stuff dangling off of my mirror anyway.

I had some tool chest liner material left over and cut and trimmed a piece to fit in the dash tray. It has been in the tray for nearly 3 years now and has not melted or deformed from the heat. Keeps the few small items in the tray from sliding around. Color was a close match to the dash.
