As I posted in another thread. I have ordered (what I and a dealer parts guy) think is needed to add the outlet. Including hardware and the sub-harness. I will post pics of the install and part numbers to those interested. Waiting on parts from Detroit. Just a FYI drilling is required.

NOTE: 19N236B in the diagram below is not the correct part number. Should be 19N236A. See post #3 below for correct part numbers and quantities.

where did you order from?
Got the parts in. Looks to be complete. Will post install pics shortly.

Just finished installing one of Ethan's awesome Wolf Haus Aux Power Bed Harness. Went all out with both the Marine/Cigarette Lighter Socket and In Bed Connector (Pigtail), cause you never know...
My set up had an added twist as I wanted to tap off this harness to power bed lights. I asked Ethan if he could make a harness with a pigtail tap and he came thru!
Really impressed with the workmanship and just the innovation to come up with this design solution.

Does any know if we can use forescan to make this circuit active after an unlock? The bed light will be great when I arrive in the dark, but if I need to load in the dark it would be nice not to have to put the key in the ignition to enable the bed lights.

I have seen where others added a magnetic contact switch to the lights, if you open the tailgate they power on.
Yeah I considered doing that, but decided to keep it simple and minimize wires.
I also chopped the switch that came with my Nilights in place of one I could mount thru the hole in the back of the bed.
Finished job! Thanks again Ethan!

Order the Wolfhause kit. You won't regret it. Simple install and works great!
Absolutely!
Very well made.
IMHO better than the stock bed power plug. No holes to cut. Better in bed power socket (lighter vs 2 prong). Option to have a pigtail tap to power something else (bed lights in my case).

I wanna pick one of these up, but can't decide on connection. Sounds like it's a straight 12v cigarette lighter socket or plug with this on a pigtail. What's the benefit of the latter?

It's not that far fwd, behind the wheel. See Rackets post after mine. It goes in the rectangular hole above the 2 oval holes/plugs.

I got both. One is lighter socket and the other is just 2 tinned wires ready to hardwire whatever.
I figured having it on hand when I need it/find a use was worth it.
