Quarters for the car wash? Might take longer to load the coins than to wash your truck. In Canada, we replaced our $1 bill with a coin 33 years ago, then introduced a $2 coin 24 years ago. Car wash and laundromat owners rejoiced - exotic dancers, not so much.

You know it Phil.

You see, Phil’s been north of 49 a time or two.

For the other members, our $1 coin features a loon. People also thought the idea was crazy at first, hence, the “loonie”. The $2 coin is simply nicknamed the “toonie” In honour of the loonie.

Just wish we'd get rid of the useless penny that costs 10 cents to make. Then we'd have a slot for the dollar coin nobody likes. Europe did the same thing, nothing paper less than 5 Euro and no 1cent coin. Course we're the last country in world to metrify, but that's another story.

We gassed our penny and will likely do the same with our nickel soon.

That gives you a space for the toonie too.? Course getting rid of the one dollar bill would put all the people needed to shred them because they wear out so fast, more unemployed.? Get rid of the nickel, Then they will really complain about getting screwed because of having to round to the nearest dime. ?

I tried a search, but since it's a two character search it was hard to drill down.

I'd like for my radio to default to the FM band when I push the button, but it starts at the AM band. Am I missing a setting somewhere? This is an XL model, so not the fancy head unit, just the basic one.

Bluetooth works fantastic, but if I just want to listen to the radio, it's three button pushes. First world problems, my other car doesn't even have a working stereo.
Hey Pax,

See how easy it is for a thread to get high jacked? We didn’t forget about your issue, we just got sidetracked. Let us know how this gets resolved so others can learn from your experience.

No worries. So far it just seems like a poor design that I'll just have to live with. Doesn't seem like a malfunction. I mean why would you ever have a radio start on the AM band, that's the one that should take two or three button pushes to get to, not the FM.

Were you able to get this sorted? I have the same issue with my Ranger and thought it was just a stupid factory design, but it would seem to be a fault.

I have an xl and my radio stays where I left it. I dont have a problem pushing buttons, no damper. I keep my quarters for the parking meter in an old film container, perfect fit.
